STEM challenge – Build the tallest freestanding tower

Our 2nd STEM challenge was to build the tallest freestanding tower. It had to stand for at least 10 seconds unaided.

The groups got to work with gusto. Some teams, layered their paper, while others rolled and stacked.

Well done to all the teams for completing the challenge! Sharing our methods of building as a class post-challenge has allowed us to learn from each other and to become better engineers.
